Lorraine Caputo: The Stillness

Photo by Iva Rajović on Unsplash
Tonight
there is
a
stillness
of light

Bright specks
marking
homes
& streets
do not

shimmer

The sole
movement
are
fireworks
shooting

skyward
marking
the
Virgin’s
feast days
