Dance is an adoring oeuvre. Once passionate, movements never cease. We get transformed in every aspect. The dance platter showers ecstasy. My creativity is brimming, providing me with aesthetic education. As an artist, when my canvas is filled with the right proportion of colors, it excites me to the fullest. The floor is the canvas. My steps beautify the floor. The outcome is the best dance when there is the right dosage or usage of space, dynamics, visual awareness, and the amalgamation of music, rhythm, fashion, and creativity. Movements allow us to coalesce around different cultures, ideas, and backgrounds. When my heart is like a pressure cooker, a few simple moves set my soul free and light as a feather. Not just series or steps, some concept actions can make us cry, and a few make us bump with energy. The range of feelings gets transformed from grief to happiness and love—whatever the style may be! Such powerful re-wiring of the brain can ensue. So you are embarrassed to move your body? Let’s get galvanized by seeing dancers around. Several times I felt forlorn, as I couldn’t evoke a few moves. Quashing shame or criticism, consistency, hard work, and patience reap wonders, and indeed, dance gives confidence! Movements synced to music take my fitness quotient a notch higher. The mood is upbeat, by the level of involvement, discussions, and smiles. The enhancement in cognition can be well experienced as dance invigorates brain plasticity. Our gut and brain health can impact our physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Dance benefits gut health and can enhance the microbiota makeup. Gut health affects our cognition. Rehabilitate both physical and psychological perspectives through dance. Meditation and massages alleviate pain to a greater extent, as they modulate the theta waves. Dance and neuroscience have profound links. Dance regulates disorders like mood swings, schizophrenia, autism, dementia, and focal dystonia. The dancers’ minds display upsurge synchronization of theta frequencies, and these waves in turn are linked to fantasy, emotions, and creativity! My expressions can elevate joy in my audience and my tutor in spite of my subtle mistakes during my dance. What more can I ask for? Learning, integrating, and incorporating needs time, so patience is the key. When I know the moves, my brain’s support and my body’s grace are astounding. With increased muscle strength, flexibility, agility, and adaptability, I am redefining my creativity and love of music. As experts say, dance first and ponder later.
